Saturday was a busy day. Dakota had a Stake basketball game. They played the best team in the Stake, Eatontown, played well but lost. Next time guys!!
Daniel and Patricia were invited to a members' home for a farewell dinner for an ex- member of the East Brunswick Stake Presidency. Brother Gruber was called as a counselor into the Manhattan Temple Presidency and the dinner was a great time to meet and talk with Brother & Sister Gruber and other members of the Princeton wards. Our East Brunswick Stake President, President Stokes and his wife also attended.
We were home by 9:00, as Jewel has had a very tough time with us being out of the home to attend church functions or socials in the evening.
Sunday after church (9:30 new time) we brought home a little eight year old to watch as his single mom had to go to work for a few hours. He had to wait at church until she came back and we found him sitting outside in the cold waiting for his mom. He was recently baptized and he is in Jewel's Primary class.
Dakota and Patricia had to return to church for a Youth Conference meeting (Patricia) and the Stake Standards Fireside.
