First church meeting in 2008

A very nice day today. Temperatures are climbing up into the 50's this week. A welcomed relief after a very bitter Thursday.

Church was at 9:30 am after a year of attending at 1:00 pm. Jewel did her very first fast today and did a great job. After church was over, she asked the ward YW president Sister Rockwell for a Jolly Rancher candy from inside the YW closet. So cute!!

Daniel and Dakota (now an official Teacher to do home teaching) went to home teach Michah and Roen this afternoon after lunch. It felt great having an entire afternoon at home relaxing. I spent some time gathering photos for our annual family scrapbook for Family Home Evening tomorrow. At the beginning of each New Year, we each do one page of our own personal history for the past year and stick in a book. We started this in 1997 and have so much fun looking back at ourselves over the years. The kids love it too.

Taking last night's Stake YW LITE prgram's menu...we had stuffed potaotes and apple pie for dinner. I just stuck them in the oven and Voila.
